has anyone here ordered from ballistichobbies.com? cuz i want to order from them because they have the parts i want but i want to make sure theyre reliable. they seem like a professional and complete store, but i just want to hear about any experiences

I recently bought the cobalt chassis set from them but i have not recieved it yet... i ordered it since 9/13... :(

Thats not very good for business. Im used to Tower where the stuff is in front of my door within 3 days using the standard 4$ shipping.

I got this email from ballistic hobbies today...

Ted,

I apologize that Louis has not called you yet. He said he was going to give
you a call late last week. I will remind him.

Your order has not shipped due to our material supplier being late. We have
received the material in, but we will not have parts made until the end of
this week. You should receive the cobalt graphite kit next week.

I will make sure that you are not charged for shipping on your order. Also,
let us know if you are interested in the main chassis (or entire kit) to be
made from 3mm thick material, versus the standard 2mm. You will not be
charged for that upgrade, either.

I say there customer service is great :D btw, if you didnt know i took the option of getting my chassis made in 3mm ;)

Thats some nice compensation, I wouldnt mind the wait if they were that cool about it.
