K&B black carb and K &B gold carb

i just switched out my black carb for my gold one is there anything i need to do differnt from the black carb? i tryed starting it with the needle set as the break in. it seam like it was flooding and the hole in hte bottom of the carb the fuel was coming out there..

You're flooding it. K&B carb spec's are way too rich for normal running. Take it down to 3-1/2 turns out then go from there. Where it is coming out of is an air bleed hole.

also my cen boat when i close the carb all the way it dosent want to shut down it worked before..when the carbs closed all the way it runs hella slower but dosent turn off i have to put my finger over the carb to shut it down

Check your throttle trim, that could have gotten moved.

well i dont even use my controler to bench run it i just move the servo with my hand to open n close it... could that be why?

That could damage the servo. By doing that, you could strip the gears. However, that wouldn't cause the trim to change.

its the cheep futuba servos there like 15 bucks to by a new one im not sweating it.. on my tunnel hull i use my ratio to bench run it
