Geocities and all of those places all offer free web space. Just upload your pictures to your free web space and when you post put the url of that picture inbetween the " " space..... I just use the free web space my ISP gives to me for being a member... Most ISPs i know of offer free web space. If your not sure, check it out!

geocities and angelfire both dont allow you to post images on boards like this. basically u just cant link photos to other sites. also u cant link videos either.

i think the 9.99 is a justifiable cost for storing my many many images. i dont kno if u have noticed but photopoint is add free. which means they arnt really raking in the dough. and i dont kno if you realize this or not but running and maintaining a site and many servers and the bandwith they have to host soo many pictures is gonna cost some major $$$$$$$$
there only income was from the picture prints they do for people, but obviously they needed more so charging is a better idea in my opinion than filling the site with adds and popups.

Well, 9.95 a year for the to store 1000 pictures is a pretty good deal. I dont need the 25 free prints so I'll choose this option.

Yeah, it was too good to last, being free that is.

Still, $9.95 a year is not a bad deal. Think about it, you go to Booger Kling or whatever and get one meal for the family and spend more than that.

$9.95/365 days = 2.7 cents per day to host all your pics and allow you to share them with the world. Not a bad deal.......

Just an old pharts $.02 http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/wink.gif

Most isp's give you 5mb of space, why don't you just post your pics on your own home page?

Photopoint really must want themselves in hot water. They've lost their minds by posting a picture of some lady's diseased colon in their newsletter. Un-freakin-believable bad taste!

I have Geocities and I have about 60 pictures uploaded to their site and now they won't let you post any pics on other sites and message boards. At least photopoint gives you a choice to pay unlike Geocities that just won't let you post any pics!!

I have a Geocities site... I have 31+ pictures on there.... All you have to do is uplaod them and I would reccomend naming them pic01 pic02..ETC all you have to do is goto the HTML editor and type in filenamehere.jpg or .gif

You guys need to listen to NitroDrew. I use AOL and post all my own pics. I have 14 megs of space to upload all the pics I want. Most ISP's offer space for FTP. If you learn to use FTP you don't NEED PhotoPoint. If your ISP doesn't offer FTP access, cancel it, and get a better one. Why spend more money? 10 bucks will get you two bottles of Royal Oil, or some Nitro fuel, or 3 good set of brushes, or 3 sheets of Novak stickers with enough left over for a candy bar of your choice.
