Don't.
Now you're going to ask why or why not, right?
Water injection into a tuned pipe does do some things, artificially shortening the length of the pipe. Most tuned pipes need the heat for kinetic energy. If the motor dies on the water or even when shutting it down for landing, where does the water go? Yup, right back into the combustion chamber as water or steam. If it worked wouldn't you think that the Nitro racers would have already done this? Some of the Gas burners do use this though but they use it mostly because it does help to quiet the noise.

Not only that, but it helps keep the pipe temps down (yes, i'm one of those gassers who does that). My pipe is actually cooler after a run then my engine head. However, it wouldn't work as well for a nitro (or so i've heard) because of the water in the engine issue. Finally, it sounds cool. (and btw, it's still louder than the .21 or even .40 nitro motors on a unmuffled tuned pipe)
