what size prop do i need for a 24 inch monohull. it is the one pictured in the thread first scratch boat or however it goes. i saw that offshore electrics has carbon fiber props are they good. thank you

Dynamite .15? I'm guessing that you're using a 1/8" drive of some kind. Octura X-435 or their new M-435/3 props are a good place to start.

yes its a dynamite .15 the shaft is for 3/16 prop. anything about carbon fiber

The smallest 3/16" prop is the Octura X-437 which may be a bit big for the D .15 . I haven't tried any CF props yet. Plusses of them, already sharp and shouldn't need balancing. Minus, they will break if they hit any debris in the water, twigs on up.

I don't know if they would break on a twig-CF can be pretty strong (depends on the quality), but it will definitely be weaker than BC or SS. The smallest CF prop for 3/16 is 40mm, which would probably be a bit big as well (equivalent to an X440)
