Any Place Besides Tower??? Help!!

I was looking for other online distributors besides Tower Hobbies to shop for another car. I have'nt been able to find any R/C car mags around here lately, so I cant look there. Anybody know of any other places I can look? Thanks!!

stormer hobbies isn't cheaper than TH, what are you talking about? I looked up my ta03 on both, it's 119 on tower, and 144 on stormer.

Stromer is OK as long as you don't get anything backordered, and only use credit cards or money orders. Send a check and you get to wait at least two weeks for them to clear it And FYI they will tell you the item is in stock on the phone only to backorder it later and not tell you until you call a month later and want to know what happened to your order.

If you get an item backordered they will hold the ENTIRE order until that back order comes in. This could take weeks or months. For me it took a month to get my order.

If you want it shipped sooner they will bill you shipping for EVERY SINGLE package, unitl all backorders are shipped (so if you have three backorders you will pay the shipping for the first order and THREE more times for each backorder if you want your stuff seperate without waiting).

Oh and they also only bill that shipping rate stated if the package is under 3 pounds. If it goes over size, or over three measly pounds they hack you for the rest of the shipping.

Tower bills 6.99 or Economy 4.99 no matter how large the order gets. And yes I have ordered HUGE packages (three planes, two boats, cars, slot car tracks, etc. on the same order and they shipped it all for 6.99). In fact since the order was over 150 dollars I got FREE shipping, and a 20 dollar gift certificate.

Plus Tower will match ANY prices and specials, plus give you their non-rude service (the guys at Stormer on the phone are real rude usually), plus any gift certificates, and specials they are also offering, and usually free shipping. You can't go wrong.

I stick with Tower other than the best customer service in the world their prices are way below Stormer Hobbies.
