LRP + nitro engines?

i was on another RC site checking out pics of the 2k4 roar nitro onroad champs and either blackstock or baker's car has LRP on the engine head. When did they start making engines? I also noticed that they were using gold gears in the 2 speed

I'm not sure if its the same for all of their engines, but their .21s are just rebadged SH engines.

theres savage RTR in germany offered with LRP .28 engine, its rather expensive, but as i know people win races with setup like this
