I've been thinking about getting one for my XXXT pretty soon, will it be worth it? I think it was about $50 at my LHS. I want to know if it will give my truck better acceleration, top speed, jumping ability or anything like that. Does anybody have experience with both versions (stock and graphite)? What are your opinions about them? Also, what about graphite arms & shock towers?

BTW, I meant to post this here but I put it on the Electric forum by accident. Oops. Don't be ticked, ok?

Well, the way that i have been going with my buggy, is when i break something,i replace it with the graphite, i broke a shocktower(as i am sure you remember, LOL) So, i now have a graphite, it is much more stiff as compared to stock, and it is lighter, that is the only graphite i have now, i plan on probably getting the graphite chassis, mainly because, a lighter car accelarates quicker, that way, i can make the triple alot easier than before, but, as for now, my car will stay the way it is, with trucks, i do not think the can clear the triple(in stock) with any or all of the graphite, i just say, get the front susp. arms before the rear, and the shocktower, then get rear if you so desire

Well,

What the graphite chassis will do for you it make the car more precise......If you make the chassis stiffer, The suspension has to do more, if not all of the work to absorb bumps, etc....... The standard chassis flexes a little more, which makes the car a little more forgiving, and easier to drive...........The graphite chassis will make smaller setup changes more noticeable.

Most of the Lost team drivers run the standard chassis. It is just a little easier to get the setup "in the ballpark".

See ya.....
