It is a national level event... I dont get it when we spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars on our race cars then squeal when it costs 70 bucks to enter a national competition AND you get a free motor and tires. If you cant hang with the big dogs stay on the porch...

Go buy a new stock motor. Go buy 4 new tires. Enter a local race. If you just spent less than $70 bucks I'd love to Know what Hobby Shop you're buying from.

you guys are ENTIRELY missing the point.... trust me, 70 bucks is nothing to me....

it's the moral of the story... should ANY rc race cost 70 bucks just to enter???

the entire point of this thread is this... R/C racing should be a sport that leaves very few people out... there are MANY other forms of racing that are entirely too expensive for the average joe to participate in... but R/C racing should NOT be one of them... this is the cheapest form of motorsports... and it should remain that way...

and to MonsterHP.... dude... i spend more money on one weekends worth of SCCA racing than you spent ALL last year on ALL your R/C's... you think you are a "big dog" for spending 70 bucks on an entry fee???? oh yea... that makes you SUCH a big man... race the full size ones sometime if you think spending money makes you a "big dog"....
