Hi folks
A friend of mine kindly showed me some interesting mods on late 80' buggys (4WD custom mod on RC10, wheels retrofit on Jealousy, etc.) ... And I really can't identify this one
It just remember me an RCL Incident but I have no knowledge about it ...
The tub chassis looks different even if the rims, front central shock and bumper tell it's an RCL ...

I thought that might be a Mugen buggy?

dunno, guess it kind of reminds me of an old tamiya hotshot.

^^^ That or maybe the super saber ^^^ I don't know it does resemble a lot of old tamiya buggys.

Popop-
You are right, most of the car is definately an RCL Incident, but that tub chassis is quite different to the original car.
It could be the Incident Pro, which had several changes from the normal Incident , but I can't remember whether or not they changed the chassis.
Alternatively, it may be a custom made chassis designed by some obscure afermarket company or even the original owner
Very rare, that car would be worth quite a lot now.
Actually, the more I look at it the more it looks like a slightly modified version of the stock chassis, so I'm thinking it is the Pro version. Is it moulded in silver plastic or has it simply been sprayed silver?

Thanks to all and especially to Relayer
I'm just like you, the silver tub chassis sounds unknown to me
and wonder if the owner only painted it ...
Note that I didn't know anything about RCL except its Incident design
I didn't know a Pro version ever exist !
I checked the rims, tires and bumper and I'm sure it's an RCL
The same concerning the upper arms and central shock

Only 2 shocks? I wonder how well the suspension works.

The buggy in the background is a Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle. Cool buggy, but it's been out of production for a while. :(

This car was definitely an RCL Incident Pro. Worth a LOT of $$$$!

They need to make more buggies like these. These could be bashed and still beg for more. Thank goodness for my Manta Ray re-release and the new Hotshot reissue.
