#1 It is not Duratrax that you called it was Hobby Services
#2 After reading more then 5000+ post on this and other message boards I have yet to find one, other then yours, that says that Hobby Services had rude customer support.
#3 If you have only owned it for 1 week then it is up to your LHS to refund your money under the merchantability laws of your state, not Hobby Services. He must then contact Hobby Services for a merchant’s credit.
#4 Duratrax has a 90 day warranty on all parts, which includes labor if sent to Hobby Services, and a one year stress tech warranty that covers many others. If you brake something within that first 90 days they will cover it at no cost to you. If something on your truck was broke when you opened the box you should have taken right back to your LHS (again that is part of the merchantability law).
#5 I have sent in my transmission and engine for repairs and got them back in less then 9 days. I even sent in my whole truck and got it back within 2 weeks. What did they say was so wrong with your truck that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to repair?

i personally know 3 people who have had similar experiece with hobby services including the LHS owner.

as far as the broken body mount it was not discovered until i removed it to adjust the height when fitting the body, after i had run tank #2 of the break in, it looks as if has been sawed in two.

the rep wanted the whole truck to see what else i had damaged during my reckless break in (his words). the steering servo mount broke during a routine turn of the truck on pavement (tank #5 of the break in). this truck has not been rolled, jumped or accelerated to full throttle. if parts break this easily during break in what will happen on a track?

Hey guys, just curious if anyone successfully installed a Dynamite Mach .26 in their Warhead yet. Or am I the only one who hasn't given up on it yet? I had to modify the subframe just to get it to mount, and the Warhead clutch contacts the springs LST flywheel, but I can't put my Warhead flywheel on there #1 because it is too large of diameter and would contact the carb and #2 the Mach has a pilot shaft. My Warhead is disassembled on account of warranty work, surprise surprise, but other than the clutch I can't really see why it won't work. If anyone has information proving otherwise, please let me know. I just couldn't pass up a $26 big block. Gotta love eBay.

Also if anyone knows how to change your username on a forum, I kinda don't own a T-Maxx any more....

Yes, it was a mistake to sell that. On the other hand, my WH has been performing well minus the radio problems...

As long as I am posting random stuff, let me toss this into the mix: If you haven't given up on the warhead yet and are still having servo saver troubles, try boiling the parts. I did, and when I installed the screw from the servo linkage into the hole, it split the plastic. Which didn't look good. However, I ran it with low expectations of its durability, and was quite surprised when I cartwheeled it 50 feet, hit all sorts of ruts that like to grab tires and hang onto them, and even ran into a few savages on occasion, and I haven't busted anything except the opposite side of the servo saver that I hadn't boiled. That happened on a slower hit to some concrete. And for all intents and purposes, that side really should not break, the only real load that could do it would be a shear force, and that *shouldn't* happen, but obviously it does. Because all the force should go across the drag link to the driven pittman arm from the servo. Anyway, enough engineer talk. Try boiling. And answer my question on the Mach .26

At least I have my DR350 while DTX has their way with my broken parts...

I installed a racers edge .32 engine in my Warhead. I upgraded the clutch and installed an 18t bell on it. The car will not shift into second gear if I floor it from a dead start. I have to let it shift into second at about half throttle before I can open it up. Does any one know what’s wrong? I think the engine may have to much torque for the transmission. Also, the engine dies out at a high RPM after running it for about 200ft. If I richen the high speed it makes this problem go away. However, the engine heat is only getting to about 190 degrees. Another problem is the engine is a little sluggish off the line. Does anyone know what is wrong with my tuning?

i'm willing to bet its because of the 18t clutch bell. i only have the stock engine but i put a 18t on mine and it wouldn't go to 2nd gear either so i had to go back down
