i have a xx cr that i play around with on my track in my backyard. this thing when i got it was rather heavily used, however its been 100x more durable then both my xxx and xxxt, however its alot harder to drive...

anyway, i stripped both screw holes that go from the bottom of the chasis and hold the tranny. i have done this with my xxx's however i know that it happens so i always have an extra gear case handy, however i dont this time.

i CA'ed it with some losi tread lock for now, however i know that after less then a mintue of running they will fall out, could anyone give me some suggestions, i need something that i will hold for a long time, and yet wont ruin anything cept for maybe the gear cases.

CA glue such as Tread Lock is very effective at fixing stripped holes in plastic. The best way to fix a stripped hole is to place a couple of drops of CA on a toothpick or something similar, then swirl it around in the hole where the threads are stripped. Let the ca dry completely, then install the screw(s). It should hold very well for quite some time.

would you go with the treadlock or the pro-line meduim? also should i add any locktite or anything?

The TreadLock is very good because it's thicker, which will tighten up the screw hole a little more than thinner CA glue. You won't need any thread lock.
