Help please, your experience desperately needed! I just purchased a DuraTrax Maximum ST Pro RTR. The engine started very easily (to my pleasant surprise) but then I gave it a little throttle to run it around and break the engine in and the truck wouldn't move. Gave it plenty more throttle and still nothing. I attempted to adjust the slipper clutch but no amount of tightening or loosening of the screw solved the problem. I then removed the clutch bell to make sure the clutch shoes were not stuck and they seemed to expand (although the springs are pretty tight) with throttle applied. I put the clutch bell back over the shoes and watched through the slits of the bell while I pulled the throttle. The clutch shoes never seemed to be able to expand far enough to engage against the clutch bell even at full throttle. Pretty disappointing for a truck that is supposed to be RTR out of the box. Please help, I would genuinely appreciate it.

Your needle settings are set too rich (your high speed needle is turned out too far) and the engine cannot spin up with enough RPM to engage the clutch. Turn the high speed needle out two and one half turns out from closed and do not adjust the low speed needle if there is one. Let the engine idle through a tank of gas before you attempt to apply throttle.
