The wheels are Kyosho, so I guess its on a car at the Kyosho cup. That would make it a Kyosho body, but the wing doesn't look like an original Kyosho wing.

Are you sure that isn't an old HPI McLaren?

i don't think is a Kyosho... there's no mirrors :D , the kyosho roof scoop is mounted closed to the front of roof then shown is pic.. and kyosho's Mclaren has a small trunk wing under the big wing..

if i had to vote, i wound say its close to an HPI then a Kyosho..

I love it when old bodies pop up and people try to figure out who made it. I for one don't know but find it interesting non-the-less:) Good luck!
Maybe Frewer, I believe they used to make a McLauren body and discontinued it last year

It can't be, because it was for sale for 12.50 Euros at the website I found it at. Then again I could have mistranslated something from one of those prehistoric R/C pages that talk about Kyosho Cups as if it were the latest touring cars.

Anyway, Respirology said Frewer made a Mclaren shorttail , I did not know that!? Pics?

HPI is banking probably banking twice more since they discontinued the McLaren. I don't understand this licensing thing at all. Is it that important?
