since the tc3 is shaft drive is it as quiet as the rs4 or mr4tc or is it loud???

"Loud" is a little to harsh. It's a little noisier. Not much though, and the shaft helps accel and top end too, the accel is a LOT better though than a belt.

[Top End]

The TC3 is a little louder. I've heard, but not yet tried, that putting some White Lightening lube on the diff gears helps quiet it somewhat.

White Lightening is a graphite based dry-lube, it is primarily sold at bicycle shops as chain lube.
