diff slip help admin.!!!!

my xxt diff keeps slipping i rebuiltit with new balls, and flippedthe metal rings to the other side, i have an alloy diff gear, when i tighen it it works for one pack then loosens up again. i tried loosening my slipper but it doesnt make a diff.(haha)

Check the thrust washer, you may want to replace it because if it isn't working properly it will loosen the diff.

thankx it worked but now my tranny keeps stripping idler gears cuz my trans case kinda melted a little so my top shaft wobbles

Do you have the diff screw coming out of the left side(drivers) of the tran case? By diff screw i mean the screw that you put the allen wrench in to tighten the diff. It will loosen up like you said if it's in wrong.

Stripped idler gears....loosen the slipper.
