Anyone know where i can find front suspension kit for the SP3 Extreme or 12L3?

My friend broke my Academy SP3 Extreme's front a-arm suspension thing and i can't find a replacement for it. I think 12L3 parts might fit it, but i can't find it anywhere. I pretty much need this: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LX3130&P=0 , but for the 12L3 or the SP3 Extreme.

Except for the brace between the suspension and the steering tie rods both the 10L and 12L3 front suspsension are the same.

You can buy the suspension parts separately. Stormer Hobbies carries them a bit cheaper than Tower you need to know exactly which part is it. I may be able to give you a part number if you describe the part. I run the 12L and 10L series of cars for years. Or can you post a picture of the broken part I have some spare white nylon parts and some spare new parts.

It's the lower A-arms that are broke, but it is for an SP3. Do u think a 12L arm would work?

It will not be a direct bolt on, you may need to drill a extra hole in order to mount it. The whole car looks very fragile but adding the whole front end so strengthen it some. It as taken a very very hard hit before I've ever broken one, most are replaced just from wear.

Tower Hobbies does carry Academy products. Chances are they can get the exact part you need even if they don't list it. Give them a call and find out.

you can also try calling Tim at MRC and ask about parts for this if you are in the US. He is very helpful with our Sbs.
