Which would be better for my Electric Rustler the Servo driven speed controller or the ESC? I have both and don't want to change to the ESC if there would be no improvements.

Thanks.

ESC-it has infinitely variable throttle and it is more efficient (longer runtimes)

I'll have to install it this weekend.

Actually, it's worth it to keep your MSC around for the winter weather if you live in cold areas. With an MSC you can drive around in the snow as long as you seal the servo case with some shoe goo and the output with some grease.

Well, I live in Texas, no cold weather here anymore. hehehe... Anyways, that's why we have forums, so newbies like myself can ask stupid questions to find out things.

Thanks.

Well, the ESC I'm going to use in the Rustler is a Novak 410-MXc Stealth Series, but can't find any manuals on it or anything... I have the main wires figured out, but the reciever plug I'm kind of lost since it will be going into a traxxas reciever... Hmmm... Will this work or am I waisting my time and yours? ;)

Thanks again.

Well, I had it in the truck, but found it there was no reverse on it... That really sucked... So if anyone needs a ESC let me know... I'm back to the MSC in the Rustler.

Dont be afraid to ask any questions on this forum, especialy what esc to get ;) Where did you buy it from? Is there any chance you car return it?

There is no chance on returning it. The ESC came with the package deal...
It works great if you don't have a MSC and don't need reverse. It's kind of useless to me though.

Well I guess your screwed then :) I'd recommend a duratrax intellispeed esc, because they are cheap and come with reverse.
