12V Field Batteries Question Please help

I have a Hobbico Tourqmaster 90 12V . I want to use a field battery for it . they are the small 12V batteries right ? Can they be charged with a car battery type charger ? since they are both 12V .

Hi,
Even though they are both 12V, the small batteries require a lower charge rate to prevent damage. It's the difference in amps capacity that gets involved here. This is why the hobby companies offer chargers specific for field batteries.
