I'm wonder if the air compressor that comes with this air brush is decent?

Did you read the Buyer Beware part? I would steer clear of it and buy something that you can fix if it breaks, and use different airbrushes on. :D

What would you suggest for a decent, fairly cheap compressor? (around 50)

well, I don't know of any worth their weight for 50, but here's one for 69. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=47407

check out harborfreighttools.com , like piggy said, 69$ you can't go wrong. I have bought many products through them and more often than not they offer free shipping. So for 69$ + $5 processing fee and free shipping you can't go wrong. They also offer an inexspensive air regulator/filter for $9.99 , double action air brush (Paasche) for 49$ and again many of their products are always on sale. Just ask them to send you a catalog and it will come with coupons.
