Terry - did you check the Tekin website? Maybe they have the information you're looking for. I don't know off the top of my head.

Well buddy I can tell you for certain that the Rebel will safely run the two stock (540s from the kit) motors in parallel.
I run my JPS clod this way.
In series the truck runs super slow so make sure you wire them in parallel.
Also just for info. I run two 1700 packs in parallel to double the runtime and the Rebel with the two stock motors lasts approx one (1) hour of hard running! I bull you not. One hour of runtime. It's unreal. An hour of jumps, dirt, mud, water, and all. I actually get bored running the same truck for an hour. Never thought I'd say that.
I'm going to try some Magnetic Mayhems next but then I will get a better ESC like the Super Rooster just to make sure.
But feel free to use the Rebel with the 540s, it doesn't even get warm.

Chris

What type of packs are you using?I have Tower Hobbies 1500 stick packs, when you buy stick packs are they wired parallel ? And are you charging them fast or trickle? I have a MRC Brain that seems to do a good job charging.Do you like your JPS? I read the shootout in RCCarAction on the mod clods and I like the JPS and the ESP,but I saw on one of the boards here, some guys had a bad time with JPS.And I want to have 4 wheel steering .Any and all info is greatly appreciated before I dump a wad of cash.
Thanks, Terry

I use 1700 packs that I made myself.
Take any two packs and then make a "Y" connector to join them both.
If you are not familiar do not try it yourself. You could start a fire.
Or you can buy "Y" connectors from Tower and Duratrax premade for you.
As far as the JPS I was the one on here who had the problems with the time it took to get the kit.
Once you get it though, the kit is phenomenal. Excellent handling, and great versatility.
If you want four wheel steering then just order two servos and an extra bumper kit and steering rods for the rear. It will run you 50 bucks for the extra bumper.
Figure on dropping at least 500 to get a clod conversion up and running. Including the clod, conversion, batts, radio, servo, etc.
Later.
