Traxxas T/E Maxx

Can someone explain to a newbie the popularity of these vehicles? I have two observations:
1.I see a lot of complaints about their reliability on this BB.
2.They are packaged with TQ radio equipment when I presume a lot of people that are buying them already own radio equipment.

It may sound like a simple post but it's very hard to explain. I will try to explain.
One of the main reasons of the popularity of these vehicles is there capability to go through mud,snow,rock,and sand. The T/E Maxx are very strong and very capable. They can be raced,jumped and pushed to the Maxx(get it, T/E MAXX). They are really one of a kind vehicle. Yes people complain about the T-Maxx's engine and everything else. Nothing is perfect. I belive the T/E-Maxx have no problems and are fine the way they are.

There are so many hop up parts out there that everyone can make their max into anything that they want. You can setup to run the truck on construction sites or flat asphault ovals and everything in between. As for the complaints, your not hearing from the happy people, their too busy driving.
