View Full Version : Does any one have info on Tmaxx with .21

i heard a few people talking at my LHS about traxxas relasing the Tmaxx with a .21 as stock equipment any one have info? will the .21 be a slide? more dependable then the .15trx? i heard the realase date will be around xmass they'll probally have it at the chicao hobby show. i wonder if the new tmaxx will gome with some more options possibly aluminum arms? better tuned pipe then plastic one. Steve do you got any info dont hold out on us.

Wait a minute,<rolls both eyes side to side> Steve(xxxer) said Traxxas will be chnaging something on the T, and he said we'll like it. Maybe its this...(Perfect, I want a T for Christmas) I just hope the $ doesnt go up considerably.

Well, NitroJunky hit the nail on the head, that is what I have been holding back on you guys, rumor has it(for more than one place) that Traxxas will be making the T-Maxx come with a .21 engine, installed. That is all I know to the extent, things like the E-Z Start, carb configuration, and anything else, I am not sure of.

I have discussed this with Bob Hastings, but this is all he will say "I am not confirming anything".

If this is true, it will be a few months before you see them, which makes me think that if it is right, RCCA, should be getting/has some of the new adds about them(and you KNOW there will be a ton of them!)

wha about us who have the junky .15 maxxes? and paid $170 for os hypers??? i feel so deprived!

i bet the new .21 maxxes will come out just in time for x-mas :D :D :D

any updates as to the durability and or suspenion geometry, and also width, all of those being the biggest upgrades on the truck, minus the .21 power which has now been solved.

YAY! Time to start saving up for a T-maxx. I bet it will be ready for x-mas, the best time of the year to sell a car! whahooo. I'll just tell my neighboors to get the older ones with .15 muahahhaha. :D :p
