I am currently making one my self to tow my rs4 rally, but I am stuck on how to make some sort of suspension so it does'nt just bounce around. I made it of pine wood and it's a little to heavy already I think even without the wheels and suspension. It looks pretty bad but i'm making it all from scrap. My next one I will try balsa wood. I've figured out how to hook it up to the truck but it involves using a welder which I don't have and even if I did I would'nt know how to use it. Oh yea nick i'm the guy that e-mailed u and cussed alot. lol.
also... if you just have a 2wd car or truck you could just tow it by the front wheels like the real tow trucks and the ones you see pulling cars behind campers.

did you get any more hop ups for your pede yet???? balsa is a weak wood and rpm ball studs are good hitches if you reinforce your body you can put it on the back bumper thanx, nick http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif did the movers ever get the rest of your stuff?? http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey guys.. i dont know if this would work but its a suggestion... just use a Kingpin on the back of your pede (i dont know how youd attach it but i dont imagine it'd be that hard) and then use a ballcup coming off your trailer. The kinpin/ballcup effect is just like a trailer in real life. Just an idea

nope movers did'nt get here yet. They just loaded it onto a truck in houston and it's on it's way.No new hop ups yet i'm a little short on cash and the list of hop ups i want costs like $220. I'm gettin the clod wheels from K&J monster products and duratrax v-spike tires ,steel spur, steel outdrives, mip cvd's,22t magnetic mayhem motor, 110 oz servo, steel idler gear and either the traxxas esc, or a duratrax one, tere pretty cheap. And I will probobly get the RPM hub carriers for the bigger bearings, but i'll wear out the small ones first. And i'm not going to use the balsa wood for the entire trailer i saw one on the net it looked so real.. I think it was made of aluminum and had a wooden trailerbed. and it had leaf springs. I found somthing that would work as a leaf spring.. a hacksaw blade there pretty springy and if I cut pieces for a leaf spring I think it would work pretty well. Also when I get the clod wheels I can use the stampede wheels on the trailer.

Stampede guy, I don't recomend cvd's for your pede. I have heard they limit suspension travel, and they can be a hassle. I would just stick with the good old sliders, and steel outdrives. Didn't you say you already owned a 80oz servo? That would be plenty for clod tires on a pede.

for a trailer it would look cool with just suspesion leafs like off the jug. u could then back that up with a real little springlike off of a slipper clutch. well that's how real trailers are (for boats at least) and it would look realer than regular old touring shocks i would just use some sheet metal it would definatley hold for a trailer towing 4 pounds.

<fontcolor=RGB(0,200,30);>i made a trailer out of pvc and sheetmetal with blackfoot rims and suspension arms, proline speed hawgs and a gooseneck design to connect to a fifth wheel on the bed of my blackfoot... it woks pretty well, and is heavy enough it doesn't bounce. hope that helps</font>
