Ok, my friend is building a custom crawler. He wants to run a venom hump pack to power his servo....And a 7.2 pack for the motor....
He can do this right?
If so how would he 'connect' it or hook it up lol....I know electrics pretty good but im not familiar with this.....Thanks :)

Yeah i think so, he wants to set it up like in nitro, so a hump pack will power his servos....
I dont see how he can unplug the wire that goes frm the ESC to the RX? There is one one wire that i see, without that how are you supposed to go lol.....The ESC has to be connected to the somehow to get the throttle and steering from the TX....Or do you put the ESC In like a 3rd channel or something?
Little help any 1?

He can run a reciever pack. Many oval and 1/12th scale pan cars do this. Most ESCs require that you remove one of the power wires from the wire harness that goes from the ESC to the reciever. That way the ESC won't power the reciever.

Can you let me know which wire he has to snip lol?
He has a 2 channel RX.....Not sure on what ESC hes using....Can you tell me EXACTLY what he needs or has to do?
Thanks

You hook it up just like a nitro.
Put servo in channel 1
Put ESC in channel 2
Put battery in battery slot
However, do NOT turn on the esc power. ONLY turn on the receiver pack power. The switch on your speed control has nothing to do with the motor. In fact, as soon as you plug in the battery to the ESC, it is eating power by powering on the FETs in there.
