aeromarine 7litr hull o.s.max rx questions

I recently purchased a nice aeromarine hull set-up with a o.s. max 21 motor. I need some info on the motor and carb(4E). What are the stock settings for this motor? I have a #8 glow and running 25% nitro. The motor ran ok till the carb came loose. I tightened all down and need to know the baseline settings for a start point. This boat is alot more than any of my other nitro boats so any help would be appreciated. I want to make this one right! Any hints???

Go to the O. S. website and see if they have the owners manual for your engine. If they do, you can either order or down load it

I went there first.......no manual available for this 21...only parts list. The hull is a 7litre sport...33in long 16 wide hydro.. What props are recommended on this set-up??

How about this, pull the .21 and drop in a .45. Your hull is just about the size of a sport 40, so I can't see where it would cause any problems beyond needing to modify the engine mount for the bigger engine. As for what props to use, the Octura prop guide lists an X445 for a .21 powered hydro and an X457 for the .45. As for the .21, your best option left would be to contact O.S. directly and ask, if you want to use that engine. Good Luck
