Hey all, this is just an advice question for all you experienced racers out there. I have a b3 and need to get it in racing shape. I have a 12T motor and with my battery packs that i have right now, 1500, 1700.... I only get about 3 mins runtime. Thats understandable but i need new batts and a new charger cause my cheap one has basically fried those two packs (but i guess ill just keep em around for playing) so i would love any suggestions, tips, hints or anything about which batteries and/or chargers would work best. Also, everything is stock in my b3 except a novak reversible reactor ESC, and a full set of ball bearings. What would be the upgrades taht would make the most difference? thanks guys for any help, im really new and need some help.

Id say your battery needs to be bigger, also whatcharger are you using?I use a 15 min quik charge from Pro Max and two 15 mins charge could last me a race, and i run 12oo-1300 mAh's!!!You nkow the purple batterys from hobby people?that what i run now.

Well if your using a 12T motor, do you have your gear ratio right? cuz that happened to me i got my first mod, and i only got 3-4 min of runtime, and went to my lhs and he told me that i need to gear it right with the mod. well hope this helps. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

ya, first thing i would make sure that you are running no higher than a 19 pinion... in fact you probably would be better off with 17.... second... i have just now gotten all switched over to panasonic 3000 cells.... they are all sport 3000's from trinity... they cost about 50 bucks a pack, they really rock.. and have a ton of run time (around 7 minutes with a 14 turn motor)..... i started off charging them with just an el-cheapo charger and did fine... but just to be safe i bought a millenium...

Thats cool, thanks for the help. I just went and bought a matched set of 6 sanyo 2000 cells. They are trinity and i havent used em yet but they should do the trick. Well, ill try different gearing, that should definitely help. I am thinking about buying the pro max activator charger but i had some questions about it which i listed in my other topic thread but nobody has answered. Oh well, thanks anyways, any other suggestions are welcome
