Just delivered my N. Hammer yesterday. I've never used trim tabs and turn fins on my electric boats.
 Could someone explain how adjusting each (up/down)(toward/away from center) can affect handeling and speed.

thanks

:) I appreciate the responses to my other threads. I tend to ask alot of questions. :)

turn fins don't need adjustment. they are only there to help the boat corner better. the tabs work like this: if the boat runs really wild and loose then you want to pull the tabs down a bit. if it runs slow and "wet" then you want to bring them up. it's as simple as that. you can adjust them to fit the water conditions on a day to day basis. if the water is choppy and the boat is hard to control, then bend the tab down. if it's calm you can bring them up. that should just about cover it.

normally start out with right angle trim tabs...i got some on my electric and theyuu are rigth angled and thats th ebest position for me...see how the boat runs and experiment again if u want to

How are these for trim tabs? I found them on aeromarine's site. #7000 and 7002. Don't know the specs though.

Now we're getting high tech. Those are better than the standard bent metal ones, since you can fine adjust them by turning the turnbuckle sleave.

$10 for the single and $19 for the double.
