aluminum or the standard plastic from a traxxas vehicle(stampede, and Bandit)

plastic is about one-half to one-third the weight or aluminum

so would it be wise to get aluminum parts for my 2 cars???

it depends,,,, i have a few select alum parts on my xxxnt, EG, diff gear, and front/rear pivot blocks... only because those are the parts that receive the most stress on my car, and aluminum will save me a lot of wrenching, but other than that, aluminum just adds extra weight but adds durability, it really doesnt make much of a difference, just make sure u dont throw off your car's weight distribution!

Well depends. An aluminum chassis would not be worth it I think, but smaller parts that hold important stuff like a arms would be useful and more durable. But as far as shock towers and similar parts, I think carbon fiber is a better option.
