Am I the only that thinks this is alot for there current products? I wonder what else they have up their sleeves. It seems breaking some of the ties with Serpent has been very good for Xray. Seems that there could be some very interesting things down the road. I dont know commerical real estate in Europe but that building here in the US would run 3+ million.

Now thats the way to do it. Looks like they're trying to position themselves to be among the likes of Losi, Associated, Tamiya and Kyosho. That would be a fun place to race and you could take the tour to see how your car is made.

My guess is they have alot planned for the future. I for one can't wait for an on road nitro car. I can only assume there's one of those coming soon. It seems like the next likely project. Let's hope it doesn't take as long as the XB8 has.

I also wonder where they are getting the capital to do this with. Must have some pretty big investors backing them or something. Either way I hope it happens becuase we can expect some awsome stuff from them.

Wow, that looks incredible. I'm assuming it will also be in Slovakia? I've gotta hand it to Xray - they go top of the line in everything they do.

Ah, the Serpant/Hudy/Xray guys are at it again. I think it's great. They've been producing some of the BEST R/C stuff for years now. I just hope their quality control doesn't go down with this expansion...

Ummm.....I don't know if Serpent should be grouped in there...certainly not in the US....that's for sure :D

Long?
It took them a year front to back to develope and build the xb8 from scratch!

Well, looks like I will be a die-hard fan of XRay now, just too many cars of theirs I like(XB8 to start with :D), Glad to see that they are expanding their facilities(sp). Good idea to have the manufacture all of their products in one building along with the sales, R & D, and everything else.

swami-Sorry, but for a building that HUGE, it's going to take a while. Also, "Rome wasn't built in a day you know."

Hey guys...I wasn't talking about the building, as I understand that's gonna take awhile. I thought the XB8 had taken longer than a year to develope...my bad. I'm just jonesin for a nitro touring car, that's all.

Will the facility be built here? I think it's still going to be in Slovakia.

The support bulkheads on that building better be made out of Hudy Spring Steel or Duraluminum!

Maybe now we will finally see a Shaft drive touring car. That would be enough for me to get back into on-road.

Wow...go XRay. I hope my hobby shop starts selling their stuff. I want to get into electric on-road racing...but as an employee of the shop, I'm not gonna race something we don't sell. Time to mention RCAmerica to the boss!

I'm also hoping that they make a shaft drive tourer, and a nitro tourer. I'd probably buy both of 'em. I'd definately consider one of their belt drive tourers...but the Surikarn and the Pro 4 are a little more enticing to me due to their shaft drive.

It's just a computer rendering... y'all shouldn't get too excited until it's at least halfway finished. ;)

I'm not trying to stir things up here, but it's relatively easy to come up with a picture of something. Why just recently...
