TL01??

ive had a Tl01 for like a year or 2 now and im wondering, is this car raceable??? im looking to hop it up and get rid of the non-adjustable camber links and all the non adjustable junk, but is this car able to race with TC3s??? in terms of speed

If you were a really good driver, and you hopped it up like mad then.... no. It's not worth it, buy a competition car if you want to race. It's a GREAT beginner car but not capable with out heavy mods for racing.

The tl-01 is racable with the right set ups... with the right pinion... oil dampened shocks... delrin parts cause they are lighter than aluminum... along with a carbon prop shaft... a good esc... and a mod motor that the gears can tolerate... i know some guys that race them for fun against tc3s... and they do manage to keep up... the tl-01 is very nimble... plus it's the driver that makes the difference :cool:

You can racr anything if your good enough as a driver. I own a TL01 and I race it every week against TC3's, and the other drivers are good. The only hop-ups I have on it are oil filled shocks and a high speed gear set. And if your wondering how good I do... I finished 2nd this weekend. Id say race it unless you want to spend $300 on a "good" car.

Oh I forgot to mention I have the speed record for my class with a 7.76 second lap time... with a TL01
