It is still going strong !

I even had a yard sale the other day after hitting one of those road reflector thingies (the kind glued to the assphalt).

Heheh, stuff was all over the road. Even the ESC was ejected. Arms, batteries, body, wing, and other various parts were all lying about.

BUT, even then the chassis did not break ! Strong as nails you could say ...

HumbleEagle, currently I am just rubber banding any old body I can find on it ;)
I know it sounds dumb (and it is), but I just don't know what to do !
Here is a pic of the body I had on it previously:

It is basically a JRX Pro SE body and a XX body taped together. Since they were previously already painted, I just repainted the taped together bodies on the OUTSIDE :p And then put stickers on ! Hehehe, wwll it worked ...

TC3Racer, those are 1000Mah cells. It quite simply goes VERY fast with 9 cells ! The motor I have been using is a Reedy Sonic2 15 turn. Also, I have added an HPI 2-speed. This helps quite a bit on the top speed, but not sure about the 132 foot scale 1/4 mile ...

That thing is so cool.

How do you charge that 9 cell pack Jeep?

I use my Tekin 112a. Of course the charger requires a higher input voltage to support a 9-cell pack, so I use a 24 volt supply that I got off of a Tie phone system. The 112a can take up to a 24 volt input, so it works killer !

Heheh, don't ask ;)
It is a 4 Amp power supply, but amazingly I can charge 2 packs at 5 amps each with it. Ask Howie "I dont know what I am talking about" Stern for details on this amazing trick ...
