I have one on my t-maxx, and a FULLY charged 1200mah rx pack, and it says for the status LED, that if it blinks, there is a low battery, and don't run, if it's solid, there is interference/lost signal, and if it's off you're ready to go.

Well...it will be blank, then blink really fast one time, wait, then blink, wait, then blink...forever like that is what it's supposed to do to show it's functioning, but on the back of the pacage it says that means low battery witch i KNOW is wrong...

i've tried it with crappy alkalines that i think were low and it still did it...

does anyone have this failsafe cause i need to know why it's doing this... :(

I went to their site and found the CORRECT instructions, it says nothing about the typo, but the packaging is wrong, and i sent an email to ofna. :D

sorry for the post, maybe it will come in handy when someone else has my problem :rolleyes: . If they search for this.

soo;
led status;
off- no power
blink, pause, blink, pause, etc... - safe to run
solid red - interference/ and i think low battery, don't run. :)

i hope ofna fixes it or a TON of newbies will be misafied as to why their new bought alkalines appear to be running dead....i know i was. Then i switched to ni-mh...and it still did it.... AAHHH!!!! :p but now it's all good. that package is from tiwan...goofy tiwaneze... (Yes, yes, i spelled it wrong who cares.)

but did that come in handy to anyone?

This is my biggest complaint with the hobby: companies taking 2 and a half minutes to write their instructions, and having their 3 year old proof them.
For people who are new to the hobby, a lot of the equipment can be very mysterious and intimidating. It would be nice if they would find someone with a decent education to write/proof the instructions. Both my failsafe and my engine manuals had glaring contradictions in them. In the case of the engine, the contradicting statements were side-by-side. It was rediculous.

lol...yeah it sucks that you pay for a 300 dollar engine and get sucky "instrucktins"

heh, i was at a chineze resturant yesterday, and they had 2-3 different spellings for one word spewed all over the page. and being chineze is NO excuse....

OH well...with all the nice considerate hard working people out there, there are twice as many mooching morons.... :rolleyes:
