New Duratrax Overdrive truck!!!

I heard that Duratrax is coming out with a new RTR truck. It's rumored to have a 2 speed transmission with 2 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds like the T-Maxx!!! I also heard it's going to have 4WD, a 3mm 6061 chassis, threaded aluminum shocks, Velocity .17cui engine and a 3-channel radio made by Futaba.
Anyone else heard of this? Sounds too good to be true

wow yes it does. maybe, if this is true, we will see a truck that will compete with the T-maxx. it even has a more powerful engine than the T-maxx. well when they get stats be sure to fill us in!

Ive been hearing this rumor for about a year now. Only I thought it ws going to have the Torq21.
On tower hobbies site and others they had the Thunder Quake for like $500. At tower they said it was to be out Jan 2001 then Apl 2001 now no mention of it.

yea that evader? it looks like a nice truck but i think your right... they are kinda taking AE and losi's ideas and mixing them to there company. now there gettin' traxxas. when will it end! lol. :p

ya the evader, i dont keep names on duratrax cars. I swear the evader and xxt look nearly identical except the xxt has "rounder" parts and the evaders are "flat".
the first time i read about the duratrax nitro saden, i thought copycat!

o well i dont care for duratrax cars, but they accesories are nice.

Well I guess I wasn't the only one who thought that the Evader looked like a XXT.

The Evader is sweet, but the paint scheme on the body isn't doin it for me. It's got all the "racing" stuff you need, and full teflon bearings, and rumor has it taht Proline is supplying the tires and rims. It's going to be a competitor to the T3 RTR and dirt spec XXX's. I hope they come out with a nitro truck version too.
BTW, I heard that the Overdrive is going ot have 2.2" mini spike tires.

all i have to say is if this new truck has the same height, can accept maxx rims and tires, and comes in kit form....its mine(even though duratrax is lower quality. it will still out do a Maxx with some minor adjustments)

it is probibly a t-maxx look alike. Nearly all of there stuff is a cheaper version of another truck.

Like thenitro saden they have 50mph+ sounds and looks like a nitro 4-tec!

the new electric stadium trucks really looks like an old xxt from losi!
