Liquid mask is sold in a number of forms. The big tubs of Bob Dively stuff are the most economical. Parma sells the stuff in smaller bottles, and it lasts for a couple bodies, but not long if you use a lot of it.

What you do is apply it in this layers to the inside of the body. You can use a paint brush or even thin the mask with water and spray it with an airbrush. When the stuff dries, it becomes like the clear film on the outside of the body, or like masking tape that completely conforms to every surface. You can cut it with a hobby knife and peel away sections just like masking tape. Some guys coat the entire inside of the body with it and just trim away sections at a time as they paint different colors.

Liquid mask works excellent but the only thing you need to be careful of is applying it too thin or it will be a pain to get off.

When you are putting it on, reread Havok's post and then put on more.

I usually apply 3 heavy coats with a 1"+ brissel brush and allow to dry completely. A heat gun speeds up the process. I'm stull struggling with knife pressure and usually end up cutting too deep.
