I have a Tekin 6-10G in my Clod going to two Kyosho mega monster motors 22x1. The cell limit is ten cells, but is that a voltage limit (12.0v). The question is can I run as many cells as I want if I don't go over 12 volts. Example: can I run two seven cells in parallel sense its voltages will be 8.4, and will this increase my run time with out burning up my ESC.

You should re-read your post!!! You said the cell limit is 10 cells, so i would have to say that the cell limit is 10 cells!!!!!!

I would say that your idea should work. I also think it's just a voltage limit. Don't think I know for sure, though, because I don't.

It IS only a voltage limit. So you are limited to 12 volts total.

You can go as high as you want with the MAH though.

I run twin 2000 packs on my Clod for 4000MAh of runtime.

And there is a battery wholesaler on Ebay selling 4400mah Sanyo nicads (part number
KR-4400-D ) for $4.50 each and I'm getting six of those. www.tnrtechnical.com (http://www.tnrtechnical.com) They are the same cells Trinity sells in their Clod pack at 1/4th the price.

And for a savings of 50+ dollars I could care less if they are matched or not.

Type in "D nicad" in the search (without the quotation marks of course) and you will find it. He has them in a dutch auction of 2500 cells. He also sells 2400s, 1900s, 1500s, etc. off his website, but they are cheaper from him on Ebay.

Wow hippieguy! Thanks for the site (www.tnrtechnical.com). I'm planning on entering the Battlebots (www.battlebots.com) competition so I was keeping my eye out for a place that sold all kinds of batteries like that. The Hawker battery or a bunch of nicads are my current choice, depending on the cost.

I'll confirm hpiguy's post that you can go ahead and use your two 7 cells in parallel based on the voltage not exceeding the 12 volts. You will get the longer run time that you are looking for.

JoeTheShmoe should stop yell typing too.

You can check out www.hillsrc.com (http://www.hillsrc.com) also. It's run by Steve Hill.

He has great deals on batteries too.

And he's a really nice guy to boot.

He does cells for the Battlebots guys.
