Hi,

Yea I'mnew here but I was looking at Stormer Hobbies and I saw that there was 2 XXX-S RTR's but one was $199.95 and another was $296.99. I have no clue how this is possible and the only difference I can see is the price and the radios. One has the JR Xr2 and the other has the JR Xr2i. The links are at the bottom of the page. Me and my lil bro are gonna get a pair of these but we dont know if they are wut they seem to be. I hope you guys can help me out with trying to find the difference.

I don't know why there is $70 difference because the 2 radios are similar. I would buy the $200 one. Have fun racing and welcome to the boards!

Get the cheaper version , its a better deal IMHO. The difference between the two is the radio gear. The cheaper one comes with an XR2 and the other an XR2i. The XR2i is just a slightly updated version of the XR2 and comes with better servos. Both are AM.

Your better off saving the $70 difference and upgrading to a better radio later on , when youre ready for it. Have fun !
