this really has nothing to do with this forum but i thought u are the guys that might know the answet to this question

there is an annual race ni my area called plrc worlds, they have no cell limit, but ur car has to last for at least 5 mins(a race).. so i asked around and heard that ppl use a 13t motor commonly cuz that is the fastest they can go without killing their batts b4 a race is done.. i wa wondering if i can increase the cells to get more power? i asked around but my lhs just said if i were to increase the cells i wud burn my motor (btw this is 1/10 scale).. so i am not sure what to do now, i am usoing an x ray evo11 chassis, i was planning on running like 9 or 10 cells or higer...

so anyone know if it wud burn or not? any tips for going faster, o and brushless isnt a choice cuz i cant afford it.... does anyone know how fast it wud go with like 10-12 cells on a 13t double?

check on the voltage limits on your esc. most are 7 cell limit.
if your running good matched pack of gp3300's you should be able to run a 10 turn motor
