Hi friends,
i have to tell you some !!
A week ago a friend´s mother ask me to do a 1:8 scale body for her son as a gift. He went monday to Luxembourg for the 1:8 scale european championship. He is running a Picco/Shepherd Speed and he is the son of the new "Picco" Speed manufactorer.
I did this body and i thought about entering it into the 17th contest here but i was to late.
So know Patrick went to Luxembourg and today there was the "concours dé elegancé" to vote the nicest Body !!!!!
And gues what !!! YES, i did it, i / Patrick won the contest in Luxembourg, so i / Patrick get out of this as a winnig team, out of more than 100 competitors !!!!
I think this is the best pay for our work, isnt`t it ??
And here are some pics of that body !!!
It is a Enneti Porsche 962 Group C, Colours are Faskolor and Illuma Air, Bob Divelys and handcut !!! All done with an Evolution from Harder & Steenbeck !!

For those that do not speak German, I'll provide a translation:

That gopher over there. Did you see it. I don't believe it, it sold a 17th of an ounce of crack to my neighbor's dog.

For those of you who're wondering why I brought that up, SRC's profile sez he lives in Germany, and Por-shuhz are made in Stuttgart.

Yeah, that's right... I said "Por-shuh"... it's a 2-syllable word... get it right. :p

And now, SRC will set the record straight on the whole Bimmer-Beemer controversy.

Tell 'em, dude... tell 'em "Bimmer" is slang for "BMW car" and "Beemer" is slang for "BMW motorcycle."

And I ask ya, peeps... where else can you get good info like this on a Friday?

NWB, either way, it's still a Bayerische Misswagen. Besides, it's not the cars I miss from there, although I do miss the mercedes garbage trucks, it's the good german brew!!

SRC, have a good Dunkel for me, would ya?

also LOL !!!
fantastic guys here, thats what i need on a late friday evening. I also do not need many german cars, but believe me i will never give back my SRC, it is a perfect car to have lots of fun on german streets !!!
And piggy for you i will have a special DUNKEL, its one of the best ones !!
I love Schneider Weisse, not to confound with Weisser Scheiße !!!! Do ya know that ! Its a dunkles Hefeweizen !!

So know it is time for me to look for my waterfilled home to generate some crack for some dog´s !!!

I also do not need many german carsI would also like to say that I don't need many German cars.

One will do just fine... make it an M3, and M5, or a 540i... I'm certainly not gonna be picky about it.

VERY nice work! Congrats on winning the concourse, too!

I really like the shading work, and the orange shade/streaks in the yellow flames look very tight. I also really like the "riveted" look around the windscreen. Truly impressive work =)

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Yes, that's right, three "wows"!!! That's one the coolest paint jobs I've ever seen and I've been involved in this hobby since the late 80's. I'm gonna list my favorite aspects of the paint job:

-I really like the unsymmetrical look in the front w/ the checkered flag across only the driver's side. That's a nice change since most paint jobs are almost always identical on both sides.
-The window cutout is completely custom. I think you may have started something. I'm surprised now that I've seen it that more people don't do that. The rivets are really nice too.
-German flag underneath the cutouts in the back. Very cool, yet subtle detail.
-Carbon fiber paint job on the spoiler and front wheel wells. You can never go wrong with the carbon fiber look IMO.

Would love to see pics of it mounted on the car. Great work.
