I'm new to RCs and I'm wondering if there is a big difference in a $15 battery compared to a $75 one. I'm assuming that it will have a longer life but does the actual run time increase?

I would hope so for $75 bucks.

Thanks!!

Well, that's just it. You really don't need $75 packs to be competitive overall, but if you've ever been to a local race and seen that there's always one or two guys way out in front? Well, they probably have $75 or higher battery packs. If you're a backyard basher, you'll never need to spend that much on a pack.

yup, more expensive packs have much longer run time and usualy and higher voltage.

if you want a good pack, that is also cheap, check out ballistic batteries, or integy, they both make great cells and packs for much less trininty, and i know that ballistic has great service.
