Iwant to change the hinge pins on my Duratrax Max MT. The stock ones are threaded on one end, I want the kind held in by e clips on either end. If all y'all would be so kind to measure the ones in your cars and trucks maybe I can find something I can use. If you can please post a part # if you have it

My hinge pins need to be about 60 mm long x 2.5 mm diameter as well I could also use some 30 mm x 2.5 mm diameter

Thanks all in advance!!! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

i was looking into this too, and i searched the tower hobbies web site,(they have good tech notes with the length for some others). well i hade no luck. traxxas nitro sport parts come close at 44 mm. but i still wont give up. ill let you know if i have any luck!

I think i found a match. the t-maxx has 3mm thick and 57 mm long E-clip hing pings(hop up part). tower hobbies part#lxsp43

According to the tech notes and my measurements the stock duratrax mt pins, part# dtxc8620, are 3mm thick and 55 mm long.

so with only 2 mm of play these should work out great, i think a tiny washer from the hardware store will take the slack up nicely.

Im also looking into changing out my dog bones for traxxas half shafts. all of the bearing sizes look good and the lengths might work out. if your interested in how it works and part #s my email is habeckdm@yahoo.com. Im going to order the parts, along with the hinge pins today.

I bought the duratrax universal/dogbone but I keep on breaking the the yoke on the diff, and my last wreck slightly bent one. i dont want to spend 30 bucks for new ones if it gives out. and all the parts from traxxas will only cost me 12 bucks.

I also am hopping this will allow me to set the shocks stiffer without having to worry about the dogbone part falling out and spinning crazy and getting bent.

ok i found the perfect fit, team associated part 6380 2 pins each with clips. you do need to drill the control arm and mounts, a 9/64 drill bit is the perfect size. these are also cheap 4.29 +tax Canadian
