what does everyone think of the rc10gt RTR truck. this will be my first rc, and i've chosen this product based on what info i've dug up at local shops, and word of mouth. i came here to ask the pros! whats the dilly on this unit? is it a good cost effective deal, or a rip. do not intend to race for a long time, don't want something unreliable.

First R/C? Try avoiding Nitro all together until you know a LOT about electric. Nitro can and is very fustrating, you you most likely will want to get out of this hobby. Get an electric for SURE.

But if what I just said you are ignoring, then yes, the GT is a great truck. I habve a Factory Team GT and love it, but get electric for your first R/C!!!

JP is right if you are new to R/C alltogether then your first car or truck should be electric. But if you insist on going nitro the GT RTR is a great truck

My firts RC was the GT Factory Team, but it has been a long and frustrating journy. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif Electric is probly better to start out with, I think i might get a B3 soon. But gas truck racing is a blast! Go, ahead, if you think your ready, get the rtr gt.

Like everyone else has said...go with Electric! It is alot easyer for a person coming into the R/C hobby. If you end up getting the gas truck you might as well plan on working on the thing! Nitro is something you have to keep in good shape and can not cut around stuff, especialy the motor part. I have been in the R/C hobby for about 3-4 years now and im still racing electric. If you are going to go with Nitro anyway the RTR GT is a good truck. If you end up going with electric go with a FT T3 or wait till the T4 comes out....also the Losi XXXT is an awsome truck to, very easy to tune. I have the XXXT and iv never been happier!

The RC10GT RTR is based on the T2's suspension. I just got mine, and I love it. I got it after 4 years and 6 electric cars/trucks. My advice is start with an electric. but if you want to start with nitro the GT RTR is a very good choice. The radio and motor comes pre tuned (to a point)so all you will need to do is ad fuel and brake in the motor.
