what was your most expensive crash

mine was when i jumped my xxx off a five foot jump. I brake a pivot block a wing mount and striped the threads off a shock cartridge.

My first car was a Monster Beetle. I hopped it way up and used to jump it from one parking lot to another. The first was about 7 feet higher than the other. I put a modified motor in it and the first time I did the jump it went about 10 farther than ever before and hit face fist on a curb. The old poly-carb body exploded as did the frame and front suspension. Even the tranny popped open and threw the gears all over. I basically had four tires and my electronics left over. That was twelve years ago and I never did develope better sense about what not to try with cars. LOL!

My most expensive R/C car crash involved my electric stampede, a newly purchased 13T mod motor, a ramp, and a curb that i thought was too far away to be an issue. Total cost :around 50 bucks for a new front end: shocks, a-arms, rims, tires etc
My most expensive R/C crash involved my nitro vee boat and a concrete bridge support in forty feet of water in Chef Pass, LA. It hit at about 3/4 throttle and almost immediately sank. Total cost:check tower to see how much a new nitro vee is (although I still have the transmitter....)No, I didn't try to dive for it, the water there might cause me to grow new appendages overnight.

I've been pretty lucky so far. A couple months ago, I busted a shock, and a CVD in one weekend. It was about $60 for a pair of new Yokomo blue alluminum threaded shocks, and a pair of MIP Shiney CVD's (I busted a Yokomo blue alluminum one)

Mine was pretty bad. My older brother was driving my HPI Nitro RS4 down a pretty steep hill and hit a grate in the road. The car lifted off the ground about 7 feet and landed on its left side, sending it into a series of cartwheels (5 i think). It broke an alien aluminum rear bulkhead, bent 4 hingepins, broke both graphite shocktowers, and broke 2 arms. Total cost to fix, about 115.00.

I hit a brick mailbox at full throttle (about 40-45 mph) with my Nitro DS. Lets just say the car wasn't worth fixing. mine was a 800$ crash!!!! i had parked my car outside by my door real quick ( i was getting my charger for my t3) and the neighborhood trouble maker took my car and set it on fire and smashed it with a sledge hammer......his parents paid for it though...if u are wondering what happened to the kid...............................he got grounded for 4 months i kick his butt and he has never got near my car!!!!! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

WOW T3. Beating up on kids is real cool huh? You could have handled it better. Just think next time something like that happends you could end up with a fine...the parents sueing you...or even jail!

My worst crash was when I sent my Nitro MT into the curb at full throttle, over the curb and into a tree. I broke about everything there is to break on the front of it. I havent fixed it yet though.
