how fast would a 38 inch hull with a .15 nitro motor go? or would it not work

Not fast. Yes it will work, but my guess is it would be slow considering a hull that size has upwards of .60's & higher.

I would guess that it would have ahard time getting up on plane, and if it did actually plane, you might get 10mph out of it.On twin .15's, it would work, but for tha time and expense, just use a .40+
