I have a Tamiya TA04 chassis and I read on the hop up list that I could get TA03 Super Low Friction Damper Set for it.
So, I did!
After putting them on my car, it now scrapes the ground (it's not on the ground), it rides lower than the stock shocks.
Is it the Damper Oil? I put the stock oil in the TA03 shocks because thats all I had at the time.
The springs on the TA03 seem wider apart and less coils. Is that impacting it?
The shocks look identical (except the TA03s have high quality parts) except the springs.
Is it the springs/oil/both?
The TA03 says to use #400 Damper Oil and I don't know what kind came my car but that's what I used instead.
