Hehe, always blame the teacher! Sorry i cant provide more info about the tires. On my way home from work, ill see if i can swing by the grocery and write down the web site so you guys can check it out. When i looked at the ad it looked like the rubber was like something you ould find on a rollerblade wheel. If this is the case, these tires would be cool to look into getting. The fact that i ould be getting a pair of neon green tires for my ride would just be cool in itself too http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Anyone seen or used these? They are suposedly made of pure rubber. I didnt know that the tire we are using now werent rubber..... I saw an ad in RC-Car for them. (i promise i didnt buy it though... iw as just looking at it http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif ) I forgot the website for them, but they come in all different colors and stuff. Im kind of curious about how good they work. f anyone knows the website, post it for me would ya? Thanks!
I bet you they aren't 100% pure rubber. Pure rubber is actually a white color, pure white. Anything that has a see-through color and is advertised as 100% rubber, is lying. Thats like saying that something is "100% chromoly." Chromoly is a mixture of metals.

These are not "solid" tires. They are molded just like any other tire, so foam insterts can be used to "tune" them. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Just so you know, IFMAR has a rule that all tires must be black so the colored tires arn't legal for IFMAR or ROAR sanctioned events.

Who cares about the sanctioned races. If you gonna buy the color tires your not gonna go and use them in a race and tear them all up.
They can be pure rubber even though they would be white, ever hear of dyes.

You can't add a dye to an opaque white color and get it to be clear. That's impossible.
I think they are 100% silicon rubber. Not 100% natural rubber.
Full size car tires are made from synthetic rubber also. Not much natural rubber is used for tires anymore.
