HELP with my TL01...URGENT

OK, i had it for about 6 months, i started using it more cuz the snows starting to melt. So i took it out for my first run, about half way through i heard a weird noise, i thought it was the motor so i took it out and ran it by itself...NOTHING! now im confused, so it took apart my rear gearbox and right where ones of the gears are its digging into the chassis (making a circle, the shape of the gear) Can ANYONE help me with my problem??

Which gear exactly? The pinion? The Spur? The idler? The Diff?
I don't know if I know the answer as I have a brand new TL01 and haven't run it yet, but I've trouble shot enough cars over 10years to maybe lend ya a hand.

I'll look into it. My chassis has been apart atleast 15 million times and I have never noticed a problem like that. I'll see what I cant find. It may not be a big problem unless its eating at the gear teeth. Then thats a big problem. It also may be a defect in the chassis. Buy a new one or get the lightweight version. Do you have bearings. If you dont that could be a small problem too.

it dont know the names of the gears, but its the one with nothing through just 2 bearings at each side. I'm not good with terms but i think the thing connected to the dogbone goes through it.
