View Full Version : Decent Plane?
Im already an experienced flier and own a a nice Electric. Problem is that it is Wood and painful to maintain. Is this plane a good buy just for flying around with out having to rebuild a wing.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2563&item=5907518544&rd=1

If you are tired of fixing planes and want one that you can crash and not fix so much try to find one made of EPP. There are a couple of fuselage planes that are made this way and lots of wing planes. The wing planes are slope combat types and most manufacturers will have a motorized model.
There are planes that are less durable and will not require the extensive repairs you are talking about. Example is the Slow Stick. Repair at the field with tape.

Slow Sitik is great. Fun flying, durable, multi-modifiable. You can try many different motors and prop setups and it'll fly. wing loading is so light that you can mount things to it if you're into photographs or parachutes. Even full size servos can be used if needed. I have a 400 size motor in mine now. It's only $35.
Another plane that is good is the GWS Beaver.

Hmmmmmm a good way to go would definately into foam aircraft. I highly suggest elapor foam type planes because they can tumble down the runway and be repaired with epoxy,ca, yada yada yada. if you dont mind spending a couple clams($) get a rarebear,(its flimsy but aerobatic and foam) or a multiplex easystar. i got one and it thermals like a pro and it will loop and spiral and my dad tumbleded it down a runway while I let him try it and it only got a minor ding
