Uh, your title kind of hypes up the problem... my LHS (who moves a LOT of traxxas merchandise) will not be getting another shipment until March-- reason: component shortage. Actually, the two e-maxxes they have on their shelves have not sold-- they move a LOT more t-maxxes.

This could be a case like the Juggernaut, where they had to re-release it as the Jug 2 so don't worry if it is going it will be back.

LIES! LIES!! ALL LIES!!!! (j/k, sorta) well its a know fact, that LHS people are full of BS. About 3 weeks ago, traxxas sent something out, and this was aviable via maxxtraxx.com that they wont be shipping more till march. they cant get the eletric components for the piece of crap esc.
i bought 2, since i thought that they would be harder to find then furbies, come christmas time, my bad, everyone had em, however in early feb to mid feb, i am going to stick it on ebay, hopefully i should at least make my 350 back.
but i dont think its going to be another jugg.
the problem with the emaxx's is that they rushed them out, and they were assembled horribly. everything was messed up, however people dont know this, or didnt, and then played with it, and broke stuff, that could of been fixed, with quality assembly.
thats the truth.

Thats right, As soon as i got mine i tour it down and totally rebuilt it. Adjusting the esc is a must or it will go up in smoke. Wheni got the truck the camber looked like this. | \ . You get my idea. I really doubt they will stop productiopn of it but hopefully Mine wont go up in smoke. It hasnt yet.

Big Lizard Attacks Tokyo, Large Ape scales the Empire State Building, E-Maxx Out of Production...What do these all have in common,
All monsters, okay I was thinking along the lines of Fictitious stories...
Where do you peeps hear this stuff... secondly, why do you believe it? Traxxas is addressing their ESC issues but production will continue

Yeah guys, and maxxtraxx never said anything about stoping production, they said that they where fixxing the ESC's,i havvent seen an e maxx yet tho,so im not to shore about the assembly quality but dont think traxxas would let the assembly get all crapy.

they are all built poorly there have been tons of accounts of it on maxx traxx. and mine was even built poorly.
but they are not shipping out more until march. they are unable to ship out more until esc compontents come in.
however they should be built much better, seeing that they are not rushed to get it out before christmas this time.

I don't know why all you peeps say the E-MAXX was built bad. I got mine for X-mas and have had absolutely no problems with it.

Is the emaxx your first car? If it is when you buy a losi or a ae car or truck assemble it ab you can telll the difference. Most rtr's arent built great. there made to get you strated off. me on the oher hand i like tohave my cars tweaked. when i got my e maxx half the screws wernt screwed in all the way the toe in and camber were all wack to, and the stock shocks, ewwwww, they were already leaking before i ever ran the truck, goodhing for associateds shock set. i highly suggest if your a maxx owner get these shocks.Simply if you want something done right do it yourself

Well, counting my 2 Emaxxes that makes number 18 and 19 for me plus building 20+ for other people. The only thing wrong as far as the factory building was the rear toe in. The truck was built fine. No loose screws or pinions. Oh yeah, the bullit connectors. One was loose, but over all it was OK.
