Team Losi press release

Team Losi cars dominated the ROAR Modified Off-Road Nationals again this year sweeping two of the three classes with sensational 1st-2nd-3rd place finishes. Ohio racer and Team Losi driver Jesse Robbers took on the best factory racers in 2WD by setting a blistering pace with his Team Losi XXX-BK2 to claim the top qualifier spot. Jesse went on to win the National Championship title with a perfect score of two wins in the triple A-main event. The Losi / XXX sweep was completed with Matt Francis finishing second and Travis Amezcua in third. The 4WD class saw the fastest speeds and lap times. The nitro master Adam Drake showed he can wheel an electric buggy as fast as his nitro truck by taking the top qualifying spot with his Team Losi XXX-4. When the dust had cleared from the three A-Main event finals, it was Team Losi’s Jukka Steenari taking the win. Fellow XXX-4 drivers Adam Drake and Ryan Cavalieri completed yet another Team Losi 1-2-3 sweep of the podium. As in years past, the A-Mains saw more drivers choosing Team Losi cars and Trucks than all other manufactures combined. This remarkable feat extends Team Losi’s long running successive multi class winning streak in off-road national competition. Thanks go out to all the competitors and the host Albuquerque club for another great event.

This was a press release from Team Losi. As you can imagine, they won't be providing press information for another brand. ;)

To me, a sweep is when you win it all, not just 2 of three. Good job no doubt for the losi guys, but I think as AE gets more runtime with the BJ4x4 at the next big event it could be different.

That's my home track. Wish it looked like that now, but we're getting hammered by rain.

Damn, I erased my other paragraph when I was clicking on post reply.

I'm a Losi fanboy, big time but I have to give congrats to Mark Pavidis from TAE. He drove an almost perfect main. No bobbles or crashes and jumped to a lead and kept it. It was amazing to watch.

Too bad the posting of the mains videos on our home site brought it to it's knees.

inferno69 - ARCOR http://www.rcdirttrack.com

The site won't be back up until tomorrow and you can probably expect the Mod Nats videos to be removed. We blew through 50GB's of transfer in a week and can't do that again because we're taking online sign ups for the upcoming club race point series.

Losi also kicked some major but at the Proline Cactus Classic at Scottsdale RC Speedway last April. Its almost like Associated didnt even show up to race.

But hey, Losi has a group of awesome racer's so they are bound to win..A lot!

that's because every time losi loses to somebody, they buy the driver it seems.

Yah Losi seems to have all the good drivers now. Ironically Brian Kinwald and Matt Francis used to drive for associated.
